Day Dreams - Bb Clarinet, Bassoon (Score & Parts)
Day Dreams - Bb Clarinet, Bassoon (Score & Parts)
Day Dreams, written in 2005, was the first piece that I ever had performed. It was written while in attendance at University of the Pacific while taking lessons with Robert Coburn. It was my first composition assignment and project while a composition major.
The piece is written for Bb Clarinet and Bassoon, and requires strong players on both parts. The original piece was originally written for solo clarinet, and then adapted to a duet as part of the assignment. Both parts are important as they take on a soloist role.
Invision drifting in and out of a dream state, encountering different small dreams.
